THE PATTERN

LOOK BEYOND A SINGLE CLUE.

Octopus organizes a stress-driven pattern in which the practitioner considers stress response, recovery, daily rhythm, symptoms, and related clinical signals together. The emphasis is on how the larger response pattern behaves over time.

The archetype is a way to organize information for practitioner review. It is not a diagnosis and does not mean every person with this pattern will have the same symptoms or needs.

TWO CLINICAL LENSES · ONE BIGGER PICTURE

FUNCTIONAL INFORMATION MEETS PATTERN-BASED THINKING.

FM

FUNCTIONAL MEDICINE LENS

The approved clinical protocol maps Octopus to HPA-axis dysregulation across hyperactivation, maladaptation, or exhaustion patterns, with practitioner attention to cortisol rhythm and downstream systems.

中

TRADITIONAL CHINESE MEDICINE LENS

The approved TCM lens begins with Liver Qi Stagnation and may progress toward Kidney Yin/Yang depletion. DYD describes a progression from constraint and disrupted flow toward deeper depletion when stress and inadequate recovery persist.

IN CONTEXT
WHY CONTEXT CHANGES THE CONVERSATION

THE SAME ARCHETYPE CAN LOOK DIFFERENT FROM PERSON TO PERSON.

A primary archetype may also appear alongside supporting archetype influences. When supported by approved DYD logic, this combination may be described as a Metabolic Constellation. The purpose is not to add more labels—it is to help the practitioner see how multiple patterns may interact within the whole clinical picture.

PRACTITIONER GUIDANCE

ORGANIZE THE INFORMATION. KEEP THE JUDGMENT HUMAN.

Decode Your Dolphin helps connect symptoms, bloodwork, health history, questionnaire information, and clinical patterns into a clearer framework for review and communication. Technology may help organize information, but clinical interpretation and decisions remain with the practitioner.

Educational information only. Metabolic Archetypes are patterns, not diagnoses, and are not a substitute for individualized medical evaluation or treatment.
